World Championships

The 2009 aquatic World Championships are here and being held in Rome. I only started to take notice when they started the swimming section of the meet. The Synchronise Swimming and Diving events had already started and ended with two of our Malaysian girls, Leong Mun Yee and Pandelela Rinong Pamg won the bronze in the synchronised 10m springboard. I really really really wished astro would show it but unfortunately they don't. Anyway, here is the results of the 1st and 2nd day of the meet and also the promo video........

Some of these world records should be annulled. If FINA has already decided to ban these suits (although effective January 1 2010 but foolishly allowing them for this meet), I wonder why these swimmers are still wearing them. Don't they feel like they are cheating themselves?
